Freelance Tefillah Leader
We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, engaging person to lead a mini service at the end of our school day, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Applicants should feel comfortable engaging children and their parents through creative music, storytelling, drama, dance, discussion and prayer. Applicants should be reliable self-starters with the ability to initiate conversations with parents. Guitar skills required. The session meets from 5:15-6pm.
The New Shul is a progressive, independent super creative community in Greenwich Village exploring meaningful ways to experience Jewish life and ritual in the 21st century. We have nearly 100 students in our vibrant and creative religious school, a place where families learn together and parents are partners with teachers in passing Judaism to their children.
